LDX#40 is a pandimensional media entity with many faces. Since the humble beginnings in 1998 as a Commodore C64 music project, alternative regions have been explored - video (live visuals and clips), performance art, programming and graphic design. When it comes to the sound, the C64 is and probably always will be the pulsating heart. Sometimes throw in select scraps from the sampling garbage heap, acoustic interventions and a touch of field recordings. Mix and shake well, add a pinch of visual backdrop as well as some chthonic incantations and finish off with a healthy dose of prrrrblblblbl - voilà, the LDX#40 experience is ready to serve! Joint efforts (both off- and online) are an integral part of the project - partners in crime include Suspicion Breeds Confidence / SZMT, EMERGE, Carsten Vollmer, Zan Hoffman, Petrolio, Philipp Münch, Kybernaughty, XQM, Guido Braun (Chainblocker, Waffensupermarkt), Synapscape, Gus Ring, Kaffee und Kuchen, Worsel Strauss and trabouliste. LDX#40 is also handling Xerox Exotique, a series for experimental concerts and projects in the Rhein-Main area. Since June 2021, he is a member of legendary Australian scene group Onslaught.
